Question
Morning James,where Can I purchase this foam for my himi-care 1000. I would also like to purchase a few fans for my humidor.Cigar international is not much help with this problem. Is there someplace I can order direct? Thanks for any help you can offer
Hi Michael,
Cigarsdirect.com sells fan kits for your humidifier. Aquafoam usually isn't sold separately in cigar stores. It's commonly used in floral arranging so you can buy a large aquafoam brick and cut it to the size that you want. Aquafoam is available at most arts and crafts stores and is very inexpensive. When using brand new aquafoam for the first time, be sure to thoroughly rinse the foam with distilled water to wash away the dust and foam powdered sediment.

| Comment | Thanks so much for quick response. I thought that foam was the same stuff they used for flowers.I use a cap full of an antibaterial with a gallon of distilled warer. There is no order to it. I'll tty that cigar direct.com for the fans. Thanks again. cigarmike2002 | ||

I currently have 19 dedicated years of cigar smoking and counting. I have smoked every brand of Cuban cigars and most reputable non-Cuban cigar brands on a regular basis so I know a fair bit about taste profiles, cigar etiquette and other fine nuances to cigar smoking. For 5 years, I studied with Cuban torcedores (rollers), catadores (taste testers) and revisadores (inspectors) on every aspect involving the production of the Cuban cigar and I am currently writing a book that will help beginners understand everything they need to know about cigars and cigar smoking.
