Question
We are trying to find out what brand of cigars we have. We have look all over the internet and have asked many poeple in our area what type they are and no one can answer. Could you be of some assistance please?

It is a wooden box with a light colored wood on top and bottem and the sides all around are a draker wood. THe top of the box has a blue label wtih a  gold duck/goose. The bottom of the box says 25 cigars, Made in Nicaragua, Totally by hand. There is also a green and white sticker on the side that reads The Republica De Nicaragua. There is no other marking on the box and we are very curious to find out what these are exactly. Thanks in advance for your time.

Answer
Nancy,

I'm sorry, but I've never seen a box with a duck or goose on it. They are most likely a private label made for someone or a small brand made for a mail order business. There's just no way to tell what factory they came from or what the cigars actually are without more information, which you obviously don't have.

I'm sorry I can't be of more help.

Expertise

I'm a fourth generation cigar maker and have spent 25+ years operating our factory as well as a mail order cigar company. I belong to cigar manufacturers associations as well as retail cigar associations so I'm usually up to date with current events relating to cigars. I've smoked the majority of brands on the market and would be happy to share my opinions of them with you. Since I live in the U.S. I have very little experience with Cuban cigars, but other than that I know a least a little bit about almost every brand of cigars on the market.

Experience

In addition to growing up in and now managing our cigar factory for 25+ years, I've spent time in many factories in Honduras, Nicaragua, The Dominican Republic and Mexico. BR>
