Question

cigars
Hello,
I have an unopened box of La Tropical cigars, belonging to my grandad, and would like to sell them for him, however I'm not sure what they are worth or where they should be sold. He has kept them for a long time (not sure how long as he has memory problems)tied up in brown paper in a trunk in the attic. They have not been opened. I'd really appreciate your advice.
Many thanks
Heather

Answer
Tropical is Jamaican
Inexpensive cigar back then.
In the attic would be the same as leaving a bottle of wine in the attic, not good.
Someone might buy it as a collectible and restore it which would take years if you did not open the box.
Put it on ebay for $100 as a collectible?
I saw a box go at Christies auction for around $140.
