Question
I will be moving next week.  I have a humidor sitting inside of a wine cooler.  I am using four 75 boveda packs.  I will be without the wine cooler for about five days.  What would be your advice on keeping the humidor in the most ideal humidity/temp range while traveling?  I will be in a hotel for a few days and driving for 10 hours.

Answer
With the Boveda you could leave them in the trunk for a month and they would be fine although not ideal conditions.

If you are really concerned about your fine cigars -
I would carefully wrap all the cigars in a big Zip lock bag or a few bags if necessary.
Suck out the air and seal.
Put them in the humidor and leave in the Boveda devices but not in the zip lock bag with the cigars.
Now you have contained the humidity in the cigars no matter what the temperature. And the Boveda maintains the humidity in the box.
As long as the temperatures are not too extrememe this should be fine.

Truly serious - order some 65% Boveda and put them in the bag with the cigars because you need less humidty at higher temperatures and the other 75% Boveda's in the box to maintian the humidity in the wood.

I think in any scenario -
Just keep them as cool as possible and do not worry about it for one moment.

Enjoy
Mike
