Question
I have am interested in selling cigars and am trying to find a cigar distributor.  Can you advise of any?  I heard of CIMEX S.A. but cannot seem to find any valid information.  Please let me know if you can advise.  Thank you.

Hi Shane,

To distribute Cuban cigars, you will need to contact Habanos SA and find out which authorized distributor represents your country/region.  To avoid consumer confusion and cigar counterfeiting, there is only one appointed distributor for each country/region.

You can contact Habanos SA through their website at www.habanos.com.  A directory of appointed Habanos distributors can also be found on their website.

I currently have 19 dedicated years of cigar smoking and counting. I have smoked every brand of Cuban cigars and most reputable non-Cuban cigar brands on a regular basis so I know a fair bit about taste profiles, cigar etiquette and other fine nuances to cigar smoking. For 5 years, I studied with Cuban torcedores (rollers), catadores (taste testers) and revisadores (inspectors) on every aspect involving the production of the Cuban cigar and I am currently writing a book that will help beginners understand everything they need to know about cigars and cigar smoking.
