Hi James, I am always looking on line to get a good deal on cubans. I live in Ab Canada and I am hoping that I found a site that can help me, the pricing on there site is about half the price that I can get them for here in town. I have talked to other Canadian distributors and they say that they can only send them within the same prov. or internationally but these guy say no problem to send them to Ab from Ont. They said is on a Indian Reserve so there is no taxes, the site is Cigar Chief.com formerly Cigar-Smoke.com, have you heard of this site or can you tell me anything about them?

I have not ordered from cigarchief.com/cigar-smoke.com before but it's true, Native Reserves do not have taxes and therefore tobacco products such as cigars are definitely much cheaper. It's also true that Canadian cigar retailers cannot ship to other provinces. Each province's tobacco taxes are all different so to avoid a competitive market where everyone would just be ordering cigars from the cheapest province, cigar retailers can only ship within their province. I'm not familiar with Native Reserve policies so I can't confirm if they're exempt from this or not.
Anyways, to answer your question, I have not ordered from cigarchief before but I know many people that have and they seem very satisfied by the cigars and the service. I'm also interested in ordering from them and might do so in the new year to examine the quality of their cigars.

I currently have 19 dedicated years of cigar smoking and counting. I have smoked every brand of Cuban cigars and most reputable non-Cuban cigar brands on a regular basis so I know a fair bit about taste profiles, cigar etiquette and other fine nuances to cigar smoking. For 5 years, I studied with Cuban torcedores (rollers), catadores (taste testers) and revisadores (inspectors) on every aspect involving the production of the Cuban cigar and I am currently writing a book that will help beginners understand everything they need to know about cigars and cigar smoking.
