Question
James,
Have you heard of this company, Canadian Cigar Company, at the above website. I am planning on making a purchase from this site and I have not been able to find much information. I have talked with the owner Darwin, who seems pleasant enough, but I still have some reservations. I tried to locate them as an authorized distributor on the Havana House website, but the site only lists actual stores, not web merchants. Should I be concerned?

Hi Pete,
I have not ordered from Canadiancigar.com before but according to their website, they are an authorized Havana House retailer and on their shipping and policies page, they even invite you to email Havana House to double check with them. Their prices are pretty reasonable but they do not ship to Canadians outside the province of Alberta so I'm unable to order from them and examine their cigars (I'm in another province).
Before you place an order with them it's best to contact Havana House and double check with them. Here is Havana House's contact info:

I currently have 19 dedicated years of cigar smoking and counting. I have smoked every brand of Cuban cigars and most reputable non-Cuban cigar brands on a regular basis so I know a fair bit about taste profiles, cigar etiquette and other fine nuances to cigar smoking. For 5 years, I studied with Cuban torcedores (rollers), catadores (taste testers) and revisadores (inspectors) on every aspect involving the production of the Cuban cigar and I am currently writing a book that will help beginners understand everything they need to know about cigars and cigar smoking.
