Question
i have purchased 2 boxes of rocky patel vintage series,i want to put them in my humidor so the question is,should remove them from the glass tubes or leave them in the glass tubes  ? thanks  gary finkler

Answer
Gary,
I always say if they can dry out in a glass tube then they can absorb moisture from your humidifier while they are in the tubes - right? I keep all the cigars in my humidors inside their tubes/cello wrappers and they stay super-fresh. This really helps protect the cigars from accidentally being scratched or nicked when you are digging through your humidor and it lets you take them with you to a friends house, golf course, restaurant... without risking the same type of damage. Leave 'em in the glass tubes and they'll be fine.

Expertise

I'm a fourth generation cigar maker and have spent 25+ years operating our factory as well as a mail order cigar company. I belong to cigar manufacturers associations as well as retail cigar associations so I'm usually up to date with current events relating to cigars. I've smoked the majority of brands on the market and would be happy to share my opinions of them with you. Since I live in the U.S. I have very little experience with Cuban cigars, but other than that I know a least a little bit about almost every brand of cigars on the market.

Experience

In addition to growing up in and now managing our cigar factory for 25+ years, I've spent time in many factories in Honduras, Nicaragua, The Dominican Republic and Mexico. BR>
