Hi
I was hoping you had some information about whether certain retailers sell genuine habanos. I have looked at mycubancigar.com, finestcubancigars.com and cigarsofhabanos.com. All have great prices... are they real?

I have not ordered from these websites but I do know people that have and they seem very happy with their cigars from CigarsofHabanos.com. CigarsofHabanos is very reputable. There are mixed reviews over MyCubanCigar.com and the quality of the cigars. Some people say the cigars are genuine but of lesser quality. I am not familiar with FinestCubanCigars.com so I can't comment on them.
According to their websites, these retailers are based in Hong Kong so you can contact Pacific Cigar Co. and inquire about the websites’ validity. Pacific Cigar Co. is in charge of Cuban cigar distribution for Asia so they can confirm which Habanos mailorder websites are genuine.

I currently have 19 dedicated years of cigar smoking and counting. I have smoked every brand of Cuban cigars and most reputable non-Cuban cigar brands on a regular basis so I know a fair bit about taste profiles, cigar etiquette and other fine nuances to cigar smoking. For 5 years, I studied with Cuban torcedores (rollers), catadores (taste testers) and revisadores (inspectors) on every aspect involving the production of the Cuban cigar and I am currently writing a book that will help beginners understand everything they need to know about cigars and cigar smoking.
