Cincinnati Bengals/Corey Dillon

Question
I would love to root for the Bengals since they are sort of a local team (I'm in West Virginia), but it still bothers me that Corey Dillon supposedly beat up his wife a few years back, and still gets to play football as if nothing happened. Is there something we did not hear about? Were the claims false, did he get punished by the law, etc?  Thanks.

Answer
Hi Bill

About your ? on Dillon. Corey was punished by law and he served his due. I,am not making excuses for what Dillon did, but it seemed that it wasn,t much of anything really. Tempers flared on both sides and it sounded like Coreys wife was the one that went overboard. Again I still think it was a wrong decision how Dillon reacted, but Corey is truely sorry for what took place.

I hope this helps, and I hope you decide to root for the Bengals because I think this is going to be an exciting year for the them.

I have followed the Bengals all of my life. I know a lot about their history and their present.
