Well, there were a few QBs for the Bengals in the 1980s and 1990s. First of all, the 80s were dominated by Ken Anderson in the first part and then it was up to Boomer Esiason. Some of the backups included Turk Schonert and Jack Thompson for Anderson, and Erik Wilhelm and Don Hollas for Esiason. Esiason was there in the early 90s, and then a plethora of wannabes including Jay Schroeder, David Klingler, Jeff Blake, Esiason again and then Akili Smith and Scott Mitchell in 1999
