Question
Hey brother, let me say that you've been very informative, and I thank you for that.  But I gotta be real: your last answer is a bit confusing (sometimes it is difficult to communicate, which is partly why I prefer yes or no answers.)  Man, I feel really bad about asking so many questions.

I'm kinda coming up with a story (I'm not sure what I'll do with it) about American football, so I'm trying to understand the details of the game.  I hope you understand.  If I'm really getting on your nerves, please let me know when is a better time to ask.  Again, I appreciate all the help and information.

Please try your best to answer the question, I need clarification for the record.

The question I'm about to ask is not about the Bengals specifically but is about today's American football in general.

I prefer a simple "yes" or "no" answer, instead of an explanation, if that's possible.

Note: I'm modifying my last question a little bit (I'm taking out the phrase "a lot" from the question to avoid over-specification) and reposting it.  So please answer this new version of the question posted right below this paragraph.

In general and on average, in today's NFL and NCAA Division I-A American Football, if a fullback also carries the ball during running plays and doesn't block 100% of the time, does he tend to block more during running plays than carry the ball during running plays?

Answer
OK, I'll try to help you figure this out.

In the NFL today, let's say the average running plays per team by game is 27. On at least 90% of NFL and NCAA teams, the RBs will have all 27 carries. The other 10% will be carried by the FB or the QB, so let's say the FB carries the ball about 7% of the time in NFL or NCAA games, on 90% of the teams.

So with simple math, your question answers itself.

I told you in 90% of the time there is a running play, the FB blocks. That should stop you right there in your tracks and answer your question. If I tell you the FB blocks 51% of the time, I've answered your question, because you ask me if the FB blocks more than run during running plays. I seriously don't know what the confusion is here.

THE FB BLOCKS IN 90% OF RUNNING PLAYS.

I have patience, but this is going a little far
