QuestionGreetings Jason Barnette, Esq.,
My mom has been coming home from work the past few months very stressed and often crying. She tells me that the office manager and the Coordinator often yells at her. One instance the office manager says something to the Coordinator in Spanish after a few minutes of discussion the Coordinator turns to my mom and yells at her for not communicating with the office manager. My mom's confused and doesn't understand what went wrong. She tries to explain and find out more information but gets shot down before she could open her mouth. She is then told that if this continues that she should find another place to work at. I suggested to her that she should call the Union but she's afraid of retaliation from the upper management. She can't afford to lose this job and at the same time I can't afford to lose her but the stress that she's building up is deteriorating her health.

Danny:
In what state does your mother reside? Laws vary a great deal from state to state in terms of employment discrimination.
