Civil/Commercial Litigation (Lawsuits)/Career in Law

Question
Hello,
My name is Daniel Wyatt and I am considering a career path in law. I realize the enormous financial and personal committment required to be a successful lawyer, and I am currently resolving my true feelings of practicing law before I enter law school.

If you could spare a few minutes to explain to me a little about what you enjoy or dislike about your job, or describe your daily business life, or tell me virtually anything you deem important to knowing about practicing law before you enter the field, then it would be tremendously beneficial to me. I appreciate your time greatly.
Thank you,
Daniel Wyatt

Answer
I don't want to shortchange you, but I could spend an hour or more answering your questions. I think you would be better served by contacting a local attorney, possibly through your counselor, your local Kiwanis, Rotary Clubs, etc. and asking for about an hour of an attorney's time. I think most attorneys would be flattered by such a request.
