Question
I have been molested and had been assault by my employer , he broke my hand ; I am plannig to prosecute him for on a criminal level , can i sue him for compensation on a torts law too ?

Answer
Yes. As is usually the case, MOST criminal acts also can have civil consequences. You might want to wait until his criminal case is disposed of, unless that puts you in danger of running afoul of your state's Statute of Limitations. Reason: if he pleads GUILTY to any criminal charge involving you, you can use that in your civil case as an admission. Consult with a local attorney about the law in your state on this subject.
