Question
I am a resident of Georgia.  I know there is a legal document to file when you cannot afford the court's filing fee.  What is the name of this document?  Can I find an example of it on the web?  Or at the local library?  .. I don't live in Atlanta, but in one of the cities of 100.000 downstate.  Thanks for your help.  ..... feel free to post this Q and A on the message board.  It might be useful to other poor people. ..

Answer
What you're looking for is known as a pauper's affidavit. Most court clerk's offices have the form. I don't know if your typical public library will have it but if you are near a courthouse that has a law library, you may find it there. I don't know if you can find it online.
