Hi Naeem,

Try the following website as it has a lot of useful advice/gudelines:

For RC buildings, the first thing to do is determine an economical floor system, to decide on spans, locations of columns etc, in conjunction with the architect. Then you can design the slabs, after that the supporting beams, then the columns and then the foundations. For lateral stability you can use bracing or core walls and design those to resist loading due to wind or seismic loading.
