I am a fresh graduate in Civil Engineering. I am looking for some advice from experts. In this regard, I request you to provide me basic lectures and notes on RCC designs so that I could get command on Civil Engineering.I will be thankful for your cooperation.

Hi Naeem,

Try the following website as it has a lot of useful advice/gudelines:

For RC buildings, the first thing to do is determine an economical floor system, to decide on spans, locations of columns etc, in conjunction with the architect. Then you can design the slabs, after that the supporting beams, then the columns and then the foundations. For lateral stability you can use bracing or core walls and design those to resist loading due to wind or seismic loading.
