Question
Dear sir,
how to design a beam ans a slab resting on the ground or back filled soil?
Do i have to make a staad model for the ground beams that form a complete grid, just below the finished floor level?

Ahmed,

This is  complex soil-structure interaction problem and depends on the stiffness of the supporting ground. You can approximate the support conditions by applying spring stiffnesses to supports at say every L/10 along the length L of the beams and modelling these in STAAD. The appropriate spring stiffness can be determined by suitable ground investigations and lab tests on the soils.
