Question
hello Mr.Archad,
what makes Cable-stayed bridges safer than suspension bridges in case of hurricanes and somthing like that?

Hi Mohammad,

I have not really thought of this before but I reckon it is because in a suspension brigde there are two main cables and if one is destroyed the bridge would collapse- in a cable stayed bridge there are many main cables, so there is much more redundancy. If one cable breaks, the bridge will not collapse.
