Question
Hello,                                                                I would politely request you to  answer this question of mine as fast as possible as my exams are near.
Q-| What is the role of a civil engineer in the cnstruction of a dam and express ways?

Answer
Hello Ankit,

Let us assume the project is one of large scale and the dam is already designed and a bid has been accepted.

At this point, there will be various engineers as well as civil engineers working in collaboration to complete the project. In regards to Civil Engineers, there will be many working together and there will be various roles some of which include:

Chief Inspector for the owner
Project Manager
Surveyors
Material Engineers
Field Engineers
Jurisdiction's Engineer

Design Engineers Include:

Hydrologists
Structural Engineers
Geotechnical Engineers
Environmental Engineers
Irrigation Engineers
Etc

All positions mentioned above are usually conducted by a Civil Engineer who has experience in this particular area of civil engineering.

Hope this helped.
Kind Regards,
Jeanette
