Question
four columns in rectangle say A,B,C,D The center to center distance  A to B is 6m & B to c is 10m beam rest on A to B is 350 x900 same as c to d & one beam is cross in mid span of beam in bet A to c & c to d. so please tell rebar position at intersection of beam?

Hi Ibrahim,

You have not indicated whether the beams terminate at A,B,C, and D or whether they are continuous. If they terminate, the detailing depends on whether you have designed the beams as simply supported or fixed, so that they form a sort of portal frame with the columns. The rebar detailing also depends on the sizes of the columns. In general, the rebar for the 6m span beams should sit in the second layers, between the outer layers of the 9m beam rebar.
