Structures are any man-made things that support load or create space or protect the contents against weather, etc. Structural detailing is the method of drawing how rebar is to be fixed in RC structures or how plates or sections are to be welded or bolted in Steel structues so that they can be built properly to safely resist the forces that may be applied on them.

Hi Ruwan,

In oredr to understand that, please study some books on RC design- this is too big a subject to describe over this forum.

Briefly, concrete is weak in tension and strong in compression. Rebar detailing is the method of fixing rebar in RC structures so that the tension is taken by the rebar safely.
