Please provide detail water proofing procedure and also explain raft reinforcement details for high rise buildings.

There are many systems available in the Gulf, such as Sika or Servicised or Fosroc- you should contact the local agents to get details. You can also visit this site:

Regarding rebar details, this depends on a lot of variables for which I cannot advise. Suffice to say that normally the rebar would be a minimum of 4 layers (each way for T and B) and could be more depending on the analysis/design requirements. The minimum rebar for rafts should be around 0.15%, as per BS 8110.
