Question
Dear Sir,
while doing slab design in safe,which kind of analyzing that I should choose normal,normal cracked deflection or iterative for uplift and where these are applicable? .usually 'm doing the normal one...is this right?thanx so much

Hi Ravi,

In most cases normal is fine. Cracked is used where you have long spans/shallow slabs and deflection is a criteria, particularly long-term deflection. Uplift is normally used only for foundations/basements- check out the Help Index and type: Line Spring Properties.
