Question
can without knowledge of structural analysis subject become a good design engineer?

Answer
Hello Rock,

Absolutely not. A sound understanding of statics and mechanics and structural analysis and design are the most fundamental subjects for civil engineering design. Could you imagine a heart surgeon who has no idea about the heart and he is going to operate on your heart. Yea not a pretty image. You are going to be the designer for the future, you have a huge responsibility in your hands and you should not take the matter so lightly.
