Dear Arshad,
Hope you had good holidays and rest.
I wanted to know the term "clerk of work". What does it stand for? Does it appies to engineers as well? what minimum qualification required for the post and does it equivallent to executive engineer?

Hi Ananta,

A clerk of works is normally someone of lower qualifications than an engineer or architect and would have a HND (higher national diploma) or equivalent. He could be either trained as an engineer or as an architect but will not have the same high status on site as a Resident Engineer.
