Question
Sir, may i know that where we should use Cylinder for testing concrete and where we should use Cubes. Is there any difference in using them on different stages of construction i.e using cylinders for testing concrete of columns of foundation etc or vice versa. Thanks

Hi Jown,

There is no difference when it comes to quality control- one system is common in the USA whilst the other is common in Europe, etc.

You should decide on which one is common in your country and stick to that. It is not a good idea to mix them on any particular project or structure.
