Question

Result after mesh slab
Dear Sir,
Last time, I have asked you about mesh slabs which using membranes. And thank you very much for your answer. But after mesh slabs like that,I run analysis and it OK with no warning. I have the result bending moment in the beam, and I see the difference in 2 beam B1513 and B1670 (in my attached image), bending moment in B1513 is nearly 2 times bending moment in B1670, 2 beams are same dimension 800x600mm. I think with my plan, the bending moment in 2 beams is nearly same. Can you give me an advice?
Thank you very much!

Answer
Hi Khanh,

Your image is not clear enough to see the figures, but looking at the BM diagrams, I suspect the problem is to do with what I mentioned before- the load distribution from the small triangular bits of slab just above the beam 1670. Re-check this (maybe you need to merge the 3 separate elements into one) and you may find the results are more as expected.
