Question
i want to ask questions
may i know the source problems for the criteria below and suggest the correct method to solve the defect:
1. beam or column cracks
2. floor tiles cracks
3. road premix ponding
4. concrete slab roof leakage

Answer
Hi Itm,

These could be for various reasons, some of which could be:

1. Due to over-loading or rebar corossion- solution: reduce load, remove concrete cover, apply anti-rust treatment and re-apply cover.

2. Cracking of floor, or lack of movement joints. Solution- as above, or incorporate movement joints.

3. Poor camber or cross-fall. Solution- re-apply premix to proper levels.

4. Waterproofing damaged or slab cracked. Solution, as 1 above, or stripp off old waterproofing and re-apply new.
