whats the important difference between QA and QC?

Hi Yogesh,

I am by no means an expert in this field, but logically I would say QA is to set up advance procedures and audit trails during the process to ensure quality to set standards. (such as specificatiosn for a contract)

Quality control would then be to check at regular intervals that the quality is being achieved- such as taking concrete and steel tests during construction.
