Question
What will be difference in lap length for columns and beams,whether it will be same or not.

Hi,

The lap lengths depend on several factors, such as diameter, location (e.g. corner or face), whether there is bundling, what stresses there are in the rebar, etc. They will not be the same for columns and beams. I suggest you refer to appropriate codes, such as BS8110
