QUESTION: Hi This is Venkat.
we built a buildings with cement bricks and iron sheets not concrete slabs. what i want,the size of columns with cement bricks.
i will mention some details bellow.
height of column is 2.9meter.
size of beam is 0.23*0.23.
length of beam is 4meter.
used steel is 12mm&6mm with c/c spacing 200.
in 4meter i get 3 columns distance is 1.33meter.
i want size of columns.please send fast.

QUESTION: load details timber is 0.9 cubic meter.
         iron sheet is 0.04 cubic meter.
         Brick size is 0.45*0.23*0.15mm.

Dear Venkat

With the type of building I see in your picture you can use 25x25 Reinforced Concrete Columns with 4 x 14 mm diameter rods and stirrups d=8 mm @ 250mm huging 4 longitudinal rods. Strength of concrete must not be lower than 20 MPa.
