Question
For shrinkage strips bars with lapping is better or goose neck bars will be?
Can we avoid expansion joints in a building which is 65 metres long in tropical region? and how.

Answer
Dear Raj

Your first question is not clear for me , please explain more.

Yo can avoid expansion joints whenever you want provided that you perform a thermal analysis on your structure to take into account thermal stresses. The distance between expansion joints depends also on type of the building ( Steel, RC, etc).
