Question
What is the difference as percent cost between a reinforced concrete slab and a normal coc. slab.
given the size is the same.

Hi Cema,

Firstly I am not sure what a "coc" slab is. If this is just a concrete slab, or any other type of slab, the question is difficult to answer because it depends on the location, country etc, as some materials are cheaper than others. For example, a building in steel is cheaper than concrete in the UK, but it is the converse in most African countries.

Generally speaking you'd have between 60 and 150 kilograms of steel per cubic meter of concrete depending on spans, loading, thickness of slab and strength of concrete.
