Question
Hello,

I always have problems in identifying the materials, equipments or terminology of construction or civil engineering.i want to know where can i get the resources (more better with pictures) for it? I have been searching the web for some time now but almost all are diffcult for me to understand.Example, I still cannot differentiate between a 'girder' and a 'beam' and so on.

Please advise.
Thanks

Answer
Dear Sir,

I think the best way for you is to get some Catalogues from different sources to identify the various materials and equipment. In addition, the Civil Engineering Dictionary might be a good document for you to identify the meaning of the different terminologies.

Hope this helps.
