Question
Hello,
I am about preparing for a job interview in Civil Engineering & construction. What do you think are the questions i might be asked as regards construction. please you could also provide answers to those questions to assist me. thanks.

Answer
Dear Idahor,

It all depends on the post for which you're applying for!

Typical questions could be about your knowledge of construction practices, coordination among the disciplines, site safety and control, planning, scheduling, and monitoring of construction progress, activities on site supervision, materials procurement, checking quantities and payments, cash flow preparation or observation, producing weekly or monthly progress reports, managing site meetings, communications, and the administration of the construction contract.

As I've said, it all depends on the position.

All the best,

Dr. A. Jarkas
