Hi
My query is can u plz tell me what all are the hydraulic considerations while designing a bridge.
Like the thrust of water on its piers, water way between piers etc with a brief description on these.
I will be happy if u refer me some sites on this subject.

Hi Adeel,

The main considerations are of course hydraulic loading during flood conditions, as well as debris impact (tree logs, etc), ship impact and scouring. Here is a good website which gives details:
