Thanks for quick answer.

But these web sites are just showing solved examples. Whereas i want to know that how the formula is derived?.
I mentioned the form of that formula in my previous e-mail.
If you can tell from where i can find the derivation of that formula.

Hi Musawar,

The formulae are given in the link I sent you and are based on the basic principles of physics- i.e. action=reaction, equilibrium of forces/moments, etc. If you want more info, I suggest you read a book on theory of structural analysis, or Reynolds manual, foundation section.
