Question
this question may looks silly to you but, it is bit serious for me. As for the normal QA/Qc proceedures in project site, it is bit delaying the end results when we follow all the formalities and inspections. how can we speeden the process without affecting the qa/qc proceedures-ISOs QMs,ITPs etc?

Answer
Dear Sir,

Such procedures are implemented to ensure adherence to the agreed quality and provide control to the process on sites.

Usually, an officer is assigned to take care of the paper works, i.e. forms, checking lists, manuals, etc., in a way as not to distract the Project Manager/Engineer. If, however, this has to be handled also by the PM/E, then more load would be added to his/her responsibilities, which might affect his/her efficiency.

Unfortunately, things have to be done according to procedures to ensure quality and this comes at a cost. However, minimal when we consider the cost/benefit ratio associated with them.

Hope this helps!
