Question
Hi
I don't know if I could ask you this question. I need to know more about quality control. My I know where can I find out the all facts and knowledge on quality control?

Thank you

Answer
Hello Edwin,

Quality control is a very broad topic and applicable to all industries. In civil engineering it comes under Project Management and Construction management. Obviously I am in consulting area so I am not an expert in construction management, but i can give you some sort of idea here. Document control, audits, material inspection, etc. comes under quality control. You can also look at six sigma and GMP (good manufacturing practice) for quality control in manufacturing industry. Many references are available on these topics either online or in libraries. Basically for civil engineering you should look for construction management resources.

hope this helps.
