Hi Mr.Arshad,
with regard to the answer you gave to Mr. Jarkas concerning R C Industrial Facilities Design Load,could you please explain the rationale for assuming that any 3 forklifts would not come closer to each other than  1.0 m and the effective foot print for load purpose can therefore be assumed at 2.2m by 3.5 m, which gives 7.7 m2.

Hi shirly,

Sorry for this late reply- I was travelling.

I cannot remember the question/answer you refer to, but if you take the total load and divide by the area, including the spaces in between, then that will give you roughly the uniform applied load in KN/m2
