HI
Can u tell me what is the "Principle of virtual work" , "Castigliano's theorem" and "Unit displacement theorem" in an elobrative and easier manner.

Hi Adeel,

It's been a VERY long time since I was taught these theorems, so the best way for you to learn them is to type the words "Virtual work structures" in Google and you will see many sites.

Basically these are ways of analysing statically indeterminate structures by comparing loading to the equivalent displacement or work done (work=load*distance moved).
