Question
is this true that army never marches on a bridge because this can cause resonance and bridge can fall?has ever such an incident happened?

Hi Saurabh,

Yes, this is very true. You amy have head of the Millenniem Bridge in London which on the first day suffererd from excessive sway/deflections and had to be closed down?

I do not know of any collapses, but certainly there are a lot of pedestrian bridges taht start to sway if too may people walk in a marching fashion.
