Question
what is the different between a bridge and a culvert?

Answer
Hello Adeniyi,

The basic difference between a culvert and bridge is Culverts made to pass the fluids beneath the roads while bridge is made to pass the road over the fluids.

Culvert is sometime only a pipe that crosses the under the road carrying water or sewage and it can be small concrete structure also. it is designed to carry the fluid across while carrying the load of the road and the traffic.

Bridges are concrete, steel or sometimes wooden structures designed to carry the traffic across the rivers or oceans or a body of fluid.
