Question
can you give me the detailed procedure for the construction of a pad foundation?

Answer
Dear Sir,

I'm sorry, but I have not heard the term "Pad Foundation" before!

Do you mean an Isolated or Spread Footing? If yes, there are two ways of doing it: a) the reinforcement cage is placed before the side formwork; and b) the side formwork is erected first then the reinforcement cage is placed in. I have seen both being done on sites.

Please note that before doing so however, a set-out has to be done, i.e. axes layout, to make sure that the foundations are being put in the right places according to the axes layout shown on the relevant drawing(s).

Hope this helps, nonetheless, if that's not the type of foundation you are asking about, please let me know and I'll be glad to re-address your inquiry.
