Question
I did a cube crushing test and the 28 days results gave me 22.2N/mm2. I would like to know if my concrete results are within the limits of class 25 or it has failed? And would also like to know the parameter of class 25 concrete?

Answer
Hi Sakwa,

Based on just one test, yours has failed. Normally lots of tests are done on the same mix of concrete and the standard deviation and current margins are determined. Then, if less than 5% of the tests fall below the fcu+ current margin, then you are OK.

What to do next? Try the following website that gives some ideas on NDT (non-destructive testing):

I hope that helps!
