please tell slabs types?
i want to method statement for single storey building. step by step.

Hi Imran,

The different slab types are: solid RC two-way spanning, solid RC one-way spanning, ribbed slabs, post-tensioned slabs, hollow-core pretensioned slabs, precast slabs, insitu slabs, composite sheet metal-concrete slabs, etc.

To design a single storey building:

1. Work out all imposed (live loading) and exposure conditions (weather, fire rating, etc).

2. Analyse and design the roof slab first and work out loading to supporting beams.

3. Analyse and design the supporting beams and support reactions.

4. Design the columns or supporting walls.

5. Design the foundations.

6. Produce working drawings for construction.
