Question
I would like to know if civil engineers save more lives than doctors or is my statement true?
If its true, can you explain to me how they save it and show me some proves(graph or statistics) that they are true?

Hi Lum,

In abstract terms, yes Civil engineers do save many more lives than doctors, as if they did not design say a dam or a bridge properly, then thousands of lives would be lost. Conversely, and controversially, one could also argue that that they cause a lot of deaths by not designing say buildings to be earthquake resistant!!

I do not believe there are any statistics for this!
