Question
hy, can you please tell, what the message of the musica cocaine? because i donīt see nothing against it, only the last part, which is "donīt forget this fact, you canīt get it back, cocaine".
thank you iīm wainting your answer

Answer
Well..in the first place ,this song was written by J.J.Cale and released by him some years before Clapton recorded it. Eric was a great fan of Cale's laid back Oklahoma style. He also recorded his 'I'd make Love to you any old time" on his "BACKLESS" Lp .  As for the message of "cocaine",It's a biographical account of addiction through the eyes of the addict. The songs message is a negative one...It does not glorify nor condemn drug use in this case, just tells it like it is through the eyes of the writer of the song. I don't know if Cale was ever a drug user?..but this song is a chilling account nonetheless. I hope that answers your question?..HVH
