Question
Hi, I need to know how to clean the silk swab for my clarinet, because it's starting to get damp...do I need to put it in a washing machine? Does it need a special solution,etc...

Answer
Hello Joel....Just a run in your washingmachine should do the trick...If you have a wood clarinet, try putting a little almond oil on the cloth when it is dry...I helps preserve the wood, smells nice, and makes the saliva run through the clarinet a little faster...[How much oil?]   If you were to but a teaspoon of almond oil in the palm of your hand  and rub your hands together, then rub your hands on the swab, that would do the trick.....Cheers   JACK
